Italian choreographer Manuel Ronda has perfectly highlighted the abilities of each of the four talented performers, who on a stage resembling a giant chessboard, with mechanical precision, reveal themes of power and manipulation. Live music adds energy and dynamism to this unique dance piece, prompting reflection on social structures and human nature in the constant balancing act between order and chaos.
The production received the DOSKY 2023 award—the Slovak equivalent of the Czech Thalia Award.
