At the crossroads of film and dance performance comes a work that breaks down the boundaries of storytelling. Zenit is a dystopian story filmed without a single word - instead of dialogue, bodies, gestures and movement speak. In an underground prison, a story is born about the desire for freedom, about fragile hope, but also about the power that can turn a savior into a tyrant.
Every movement resonates more than words. The tension between bodies, the rhythm of escape and the fall into darkness create an image of a world that is perhaps too close to our reality. Zenith thus becomes both a warning and poetry, a visual ritual that draws the viewer into the depths of the human desire for liberation.
Come experience a unique film that connects the language of dance, film and visual art. MOVE Fest Ostrava presents one of two Czech premieres in the presence of director Györgyh Kristóf, with whom there will be a debate after the screening.
