What is truth and what is manipulation? Where does our own perception end and where does the influence of the media or politicians begin? "Lion's Pit UNLIMITED" invites you to a participatory performance in which the resonance of our decisions, movements and attitudes opens up space for reflection and sharing.

Authors Sabina Bočková and Johana Pocková, together with a group of up to thirty movement students, will rehearse a new version of their project as part of the student symposium Arrival. This provides young creators with the opportunity to meet international artists, try out the creation of a professional performative project, and experience the power of participatory art and instant feedback.

In a magical place where the old meets the new - between Trojhalí and the newly built Organica - young dancers will set the public space in motion and show that dance can also resonate with topics that move society.

"Lion's Pit UNLIMITED" follows on from the original production Lion's Pit , which was created six years ago as part of an artist residency at the then Cooltour, a MOVE Ostrava retreat, and brings a symbolic return to its birthplace. The project connects professional and non-professional dancers, allows for experimentation with the collective body and the search for new meanings for the themes of media manipulation, political populism and social responsibility.
