As is traditional, the 12th year has a theme that runs through the entire festival program and dramaturgy. And this year's theme will surely resonate deeply with you .

The main theme of MOVE Fest 2025 is resonance – a principle that permeates not only music, but also dance and movement. Dancers resonate with the music, the theatre space, but also with themselves and the audience. Therefore, at MOVE Fest 2025 you can expect performances that explore this mutual exchange of energy, open up new dimensions of understanding and touch inner emotions.

Young Talent Line: Embarking

The program will again feature the popular student line , which this time will be carried out in the spirit of arrival . This reflects the fragile moment of transition from school rehearsal rooms and halls to professional life - a period full of expectations, uncertainty, but also new opportunities. Therefore, MOVE Fest will also give space in 2025 to students and recent graduates - to present their views on movement art and at the same time connect with the wider artistic environment - Ostrava, Czech and foreign.
